Abstract:	In this talk, we discuss the realization of Boolean control networks (BCNs) and apply obtained results to some decoupling problems. It is proved that the minimum realization (MR) of a BCN exists uniquely up to a coordinate transformation and a BCN is an MR of itself if and only if it is weakly observable. Based on these, an algorithm is established to construct all equivalent realizations of BCNs. Moreover, the observability decomposition of BCNs is discussed and an equivalent condition is obtained to determine the decomposability, which is sufficient to guarantee the MR be Boolean rather than polynary logical. Finally, as applications, original disturbance and input-output decoupling problems are analyzed. Results reveal that input-output decoupling can be converted into a series of disturbance decoupling problems and the system and its MR being decoupled are equivalent.
