To export cleaner has been one important assignment of China's transformation to a green economy. Although China's emissions embodied in exports have been extensively studied, one often neglected aspect is the size heterogeneity of export enterprises. In this paper, we examine China's export-related CO2 emission performance of large, medium, and small-sized enterprises by compiling special input-output tables (for the years 2007 and 2012) that distinguish the production of the three different-sized enterprises.
