Title:	Early Detection and Assessment of Depression based on Wearable Devices and Vital Sign Signals

Abstract:	In recent years, the incidence of depression has been increasing year by year. At the same time, the current clinical diagnosis and treatment of depression also faces problems such as unclear pathogenesis, strong subjectivity of clinical diagnosis, and difficulty in early diagnosis. Therefore, it has become an urgent need to find objective biomarkers with explanatory characteristics to solve the above problems. Here, we will discuss how wearable devices can be used to monitor and assess early depression, thus contributing to mass screening of early depression in the population. The key problem is to clarify the internal mapping relationship between the key features of vital signs such as EEG and ECG and the state of depressive emotional disorder. In addition, we will discuss how to implement the whole process from signal acquisition and monitoring, through data processing, modeling and analysis, and finally real-time evaluation of depression based on wearable devices.
