Abstract: A simple arc Γ=γ(0,T] , growing into the unit disk D from its boundary, generates a driving term ξ and a conformal welding ϕ through the Loewner differential equation. We investigate the maps Γ↔ϕwhen Γis the slit of a Weil--Petersson quasislit-disk D∖Γ, giving a description of Γ  in terms of ϕ. This result offers a new perspective on Weil-Petersson quasislit-disks through the lens of local welding homeomorphisms.
