Abstract: This talk is an introduction of some basic analytic theory of Berkovich spaces over a complete valued field. We mainly focus on the case of analytifications of algebraic varieties. We will cover the notions of metrics of line bundles, non-Archimedean Monge–Amp`ere measures. If time permitted, we will talk about the non-Archimedean theory of Fekete points introduced by S. Boucksom and D. Eriksson.
