What I remember most of my first meeting with Wen-Tsun Wu(a long time ago) was his enthusiasm for mathematics and his warmth. Soon afterward, he sent me a copy of his MM Research Preprint Mechanical Derivation of Newton's Gravitational Laws from Keplers's Laws". It is a paper I cherish and I still use this as an example of the power of symbolic methods.
