题  目：Volume, entropy, and Heegaard splitting

摘  要：Volume refers to the volume of a hyperbolic 3-manifold. Entropy refers to the entropy of a pseudo-Anosov surface automorphism. In this talk, I will survey on comparison between these quantities, and discuss how to obtain new inequalities by using Heegaard splittings in 3-manifold topology.
